オリーブの収穫
今日は天気が良く、お店もお休みだったので、午後から小豆島酒造の庭のオリーブのオリーブの摘果作業をしました。今年は実が大きく、豊作のようです。わずか2時間ほどで、こんなにたくさん収穫できました。このオリーブは、毎年島のオリーブ会社さんに搾っていただき、カフェとベーカリーで使用しています。

Since the weather was beautiful and our shop was closed today, I spent the afternoon thinning olives in the garden of Shodoshima Shuzo. This year, the fruits are large and the harvest is bountiful. In just about two hours, we were able to gather this many. Every year, these olives are pressed by a local olive company on the island and used in our café and bakery.
