We held a special sake event on January 26, 2026 at THE GALLERY by Odo, produced by Chef Hiroki Odo, who leads the Michelin two‑star kaiseki restaurant Odo in New York. The theme of the evening was “Sanuki Olive Yeast”, featuring dishes paired with our sake and olive oil.
Despite the heaviest snowfall in ten years, we were grateful to welcome around thirty guests. They enjoyed tasting sake brewed with olive yeast nurtured on Shodoshima, and listened with great interest as we shared stories about our brewing process and the passion behind this unique yeast.
On the following day, the 27th, thanks to the warm support of New York Mutual Trading, Inc., we were also given the opportunity to host an olive‑yeast sake tasting event at Asoko, an izakaya in Manhattan. The venue was filled with many young guests, and the event was very well received, leaving us deeply moved as we returned to Japan.
What touched us most throughout this trip was the heartfelt kindness and unwavering support from everyone at New York Mutual Trading, Inc. We truly hope to continue nurturing this relationship for many years to come.
